CPN handles the brand, the commercial terms and the export documentation — either as exporter of record, or as your agent with the handler invoicing you directly.

The paperwork is the product.
A container of almonds is worth what its documents say it is. This is the file that travels with every shipment.
- Every shipment: commercial invoice and packing list, certificate of analysis including aflatoxin, phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, bill of lading, ISPM-15 pallet declaration.
- On request: halal and kosher certificates, fumigation certificate, health certificate, insurance certificate, FDA prior notice, and any market-specific form your importer names.
- Shelf life: 12 months from pack date for raw bulk, 9–12 months for roasted or flavored — typical, confirmed per formula.
- Aflatoxin: destination limits differ by market and by product form. We confirm in writing which limit applies to yours before the lot is booked, and the lot is tested to it.

CPN holds no facility certification of its own. Every certificate travels with the lot it belongs to. Ask before you book and we will send the current set with the quote.
Typical specs, honest wording
Figures we publish are typical industry specifications. The numbers that count for your container come from that lot's certificate of analysis, issued before it sails. We do not publish a lab result we have not run.

What buyers ask first.
What is the minimum order?
One pallet per SKU for bulk and for private-label retail. Mixed first orders can go out as LCL. Full 20' and 40' containers are the usual repeat order.
Do you quote FOB or CIF?
Both, plus EXW if you run your own forwarder. FOB is Los Angeles / Long Beach, or Oakland for northern lots. Under CIF, duty, VAT and destination charges are yours — we say so on the quote.
How long is a quote valid?
Seven days. Nut prices and freight rates both move, and a stale quote helps nobody. Ask again after that and we re-quote same day.
Can we get samples?
Yes — up to 1 kg per SKU, couriered at your cost, and credited against a first order of one pallet or more. Typically 5–7 business days from a complete address and any import permit your country requires.
What are your payment terms?
Irrevocable letter of credit at sight against documents, or T/T — a deposit on order with the balance against copy documents. Terms are set per deal and confirmed in the sales contract before production is booked.
Are you the producer?
No, and we would rather tell you than have you find out. CPN is a California export house and brand; product is sourced, processed and packed at licensed California handler and co-packer facilities. That is also why we can quote across varieties, sizes and processors instead of selling you whatever one plant happens to have.
What certifications do you hold?
CPN holds no facility certification of its own. Certifications are available via our packing partners — FDA-registered facility, SQF/BRC, halal and kosher on request — and documentation is provided per shipment, issued by the facility that packed your lot.
Can you put our brand on the bag?
Yes. Private label from one pallet per SKU, with bilingual labels available and the nutrition panel built to your market's format. Typically 3–5 weeks from approved artwork, plus 2–4 weeks if the artwork is new.
